Description
The Tungsten Softlight, with its unique optical design and rugged construction, particularly for studio use but also on location where large area softlights are required. Light is emitted from virtually the entire frontal rectangular area and, as a result, the units can be positioned close together to provide larger area multiple arrays of softlights as and when required. The reflectors are coated with a specially formulated heat resistant paint which refuses to discolour. More importantly, there is no colour temperature shift from these matt finished indirect reflectors. The egg crate hinged and removable for bulb replacement is an integral part of the optical design and provides considerable beam-edge control. Slot-in removable colour frames are fitted on the 5kW softlight.
